What is a DTS

Ever wanted to spend some time getting to know God on a deeper level? Ever dreamed of going on a short-term mission trip? Ever wanted to be in a classroom with students from different parts of the world? Ever wondered what it would be like to live in a Christian community for a while? Have you wanted to grow in knowledge, wisdom and understanding about life? Well then, perhaps a Discipleship Training School is for you!

In a DTS you take 6 months of your life and you come and live and learn in an explosive Christian environment with other like-minded youth like yourself. During the first 3 months of the school you will receive teaching given by various international and local teachers, followed by a short-term mission trip where you get to step out and share the gospel in many different ways. Is it Challenging? You bet. Fun? Definitely. Difficult? At times. Life-changing? If you are open to allow God to teach you and shape you, then yes, it certainly is!

So what does a winter DTS have to offer?

Why does learning about God need to sound boring? What would be a more exciting adventure than to spend a winter in Finland enjoying a variety of winter activities such as snowboarding, skiing, ice skating and Finnish sauna.

WHAT IS REQUIRED OF ME TO DO A DTS?

All that is needed is that you are at least 18 years of age, and a born-again Christian.
